Ferry said the omission from the special council agenda was "inadvertent" and added, "This was inadvertent oversight and there was no intention to withhold the disclosure." Council recognized forestry inspector Carrie Hashon, who received an Award of Recognition from the International Society of Arboriculture Ontario and the Women in Arboriculture Ontario Committee. Del Duca said, "This acknowledgement tells me that our city is on the right track. Through her role as a forestry inspector, Carrie Hashon, a deep dedication to protecting and enhancing bonds tree canopy, contributing to a greener, healthier, and more sustainable city for all of our residents." Council also acknowledged local youth soccer teams, including the Vaughan U18 girls and U17 boys teams. The mayor called the championship "one of the oldest and most prestigious sporting events in the country" and said the win was "a truly special and remarkable achievement."
Council adopted several bylaws, including Bylaw 165-2026 as amended by Communication C11, Bylaws 158-2026, 159-2026, 160-2026, and 161-2026 as amended by Communication C12, and addendum Bylaw 183-2026.
